Hobbies & Interests: UGH ... neighbors

I don't even know where to begin... my neighbor was very consistent with playing his stereo in his car loud enough to shake my whole house!!! I have lost count with how many times I've talked to him about it... then recently, I've given up hope with that and just started calling the police with every "BOOM" I hear coming from his car. I came home the other night from grocery shopping. I was unloading my car and I had my 10 month old son in the door way so I could keep an eye on him. I was also on the phone with my mother as it was her birthday. So, the neighbor came home... sped up the driveway right NEXT to me and continued to rev his engine very loud (keeping in mind my son was right in the doorway and Lord only knows how loud it was for his little ears). I called the police again. They did their thing and left. About 15 minutes later, I get a knock on my front door. It was the neighbor asking me what my issue is with him. I had to ask him not once, but twice to get away from my door. So, I called the police AGAIN. I am fed up with these people. And it's much more than their music and annoying behavior that's aggravating me. PLEASE... how do I handle all this stress without going insane at the same time?!?!?!?!
By the way, this has been going on since they moved in, in OCTOBER 2006!

Get a very loud horn and blow it when they are sleeping. All kidding aside. I can't stand rude people like that. We are all surrounded by idiots who have no respect. They are obviously very unhappy people. I don't like hearing that misery loves company, and I hate fact that it's true. How long are you trapped living next to these animals?

I have FINALLY come up with a solution! The neighbors have resorted to staring in my house through the chain link fence. SO, I am going to Home Depot, and I am going to get the slats that you can weave in and out of the fence. INSTANT privacy!!!! Thank you for the advice, Modesty, Napa, and Liz!
